In the Suns’ game against the LA Clippers, Devin Booker wore a pair of his Nike Book 1 sneakers insired by Forrest Gump.
Borrowing its aesthetic from the pair of Cortez that Forrest was gifted by Jenny before he decided to go for a run, it sports a white leather upper adorned on the sides with red Swooshes. The same red also shows up on the Cortez-styled rear heel overlay and the “Nike” and “Book” branding on each respective tongue.
Underneath resides a white midsole that features a royal Cortez stripe and a white rubber outsole.
As it currently stands, there are no known plans of a retail run for this Book 1, although there certainly needs to be.
